We have good news! - information service for foreigners in the świętokrzyskie voivodship has been launched

You get a new source of information within the project ‘INTEURO - Programme of integration and professional mobilisation of foreigners in the Swietokrzyskie voivodship’.

The project is an excellent response to the lack of a permanent source of information for foreigners in our region on current issues concerning their life in Poland and the Swietokrzyskie voivodeship.
Just as importantly, this will be the first initiative in the region to publish a cyclical guide, which will also be created by foreigners themselves.

It is worth mentioning that we will also be developing the Taras Shevchenko Ukrainian Library, which has been operating for several months now and is based on the Association Integration Europe - East Centre for Integration of Foreigners INTEURO.

The editorial team of our service and newsletter NOWINY already consists of Polish and Ukrainian employees and volunteers of the Association Integration Europe - East.
Our doors are not closed, so we invite all those willing to work with us to create a new initiative.

What have we got planned?

Taras Shevchenko Ukrainian Library in Kielce

We have planned the continuation and development of a Ukrainian library with a reading room at the INTEURO Centre for Integration of Foreigners at Senkiewicza 78A .

On 13 April 2024, the Association, on the basis of the Centre for Integration of Foreigners (CIF) INTEURO, officially opened the first Ukrainian Library of Taras Shevchenko in our city and region. The event was attended by several dozen people and the opening of the library was a response to numerous requests and questions from visitors to the CIF for access to contemporary literature and books from Ukraine.

You are already welcome to use the ever-growing collection of our library.
We are also open to cooperation with people who would like to help expand our collections, organise meetings, etc.

The library's Facebook profile is managed by our journalist editorial colleague Liudmyla Yurchenko.

About the project INTEURO

The project entitled ‘INTEURO - a programme for the integration and professional mobilisation of foreigners in the Swietokrzyskie voivodeship’ is being implemented in the years 2024-25 by the Association Integration Europe-East and the Voivodeship Labour Office in Kielce.
This is a continuation of the comprehensive support for foreigners in the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship, i.e. the INTEURO Good Neighbourhood Map programme, which has been in operation since 2020 and has already benefited more than 6,000 people.

To date, the programme has gained the recognition of partners such as the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship, the Voivodeship Labour Office, the Kielce District Labour Office, numerous NGOs from Poland and Ukraine as part of projects funded by FAMI, MRiPS, the Nowe FIO and others.

The project is being implemented as part of the European Funds for Swietokrzyskie 2021-2027 programme.

The Centre for Integration of Foreigners INTEURO started its activities at the beginning of the year in Kielce 2024 at Sienkiewicza 78A, where the Information Point for Foreigners has been operating since 2019.

What we have planned?

  • legal, psychological, legalisation, translation and integration support for more than 2,000 non-EU citizens,
  • organisation of free Polish language courses at all levels,
  • integration courses and compensatory classes,
  • professional activation for 200 Ukrainian women through vocational guidance, training and business counselling,
  • courses, training and professional activation for foreigners,
  • support for employers in employing foreigners,
  • upgrading the skills of 420 persons working with foreigners through the organisation of a series of professional training courses, workshops, exchange of experience.
